How long will delivery take, and is my order shipped safely?
We offer FREE Next Day Delivery storewide and we ensure all orders are shipped securely and safely. You will also receive a tracking notification once your order has been dispatched for extra peace of mind.
Is Java wood safe for my parrot to chew?
Yes — Java wood is a hardwood favourite in aviculture precisely because it's safe to chew and holds up to it. It's untreated, pesticide-free, and tough enough to survive a determined beak for a long time.
Where does your Java wood actually come from?
Indonesia — hand-selected, not mass-harvested. Java wood grows dense and durable in that climate, which is exactly what makes it hold up to a parrot's beak rather than splintering after a few months.
How do I clean and maintain Java wood over time?
Wipe it down as part of your regular cage clean — no soap needed, just warm water and a scrub if it's heavily soiled. Java wood doesn't need oiling or sealing; the wear it picks up from chewing and climbing is normal, not damage.
What if the cage doesn't suit my bird once it arrives?
You can refer to our Return Policy for more information about this. But in a nutshell, you've got 14 days to return your order in its original condition for a FULL refund — no restocking fee, no hoops to jump through. In the unlikely event you want to return an order, just email us and we will be happy to accomodate.
Does the powder coating or paint contain anything toxic if chewed?
No — every finish used is non-toxic and specifically rated safe for birds, not adapted from general-purpose furniture coatings.
My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
